This year’s Fourth Annual Day of Giving is less than a week away—and we can hardly wait! This one is especially close to our hearts, because it marks a milestone we are so proud to share: 15 years of Full Circle Farm Sanctuary—15 years of rescues, second chances, and a community united in compassion.
That’s:
🌱 15 years of rescue, education, advocacy, outreach, and collaboration
🌱 15 years of filling a community need
🌱 15 years of innovation in animal care
🌱 15 years of volunteerism and community service
🌱 15 years of inspiring change, compassion, and countless acts of kindness
For 15 years, we’ve inspired others to create their own acts of service—whether through small, personal efforts, launching non-profits dedicated to advocacy, or opening sanctuaries of their own, looking to FCFS as a model. Fellow organizations also visit the sanctuary to find inspiration and to recharge—an ever-important part of sustaining this difficult but vital work.
We’re proud to be the first farmed animal sanctuary in Georgia accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS)—a testament to our uncompromising standards in animal care, safety, ethical practices, and responsible stewardship of funds. And we’re equally proud to be paving the way for others to follow.
We pour our hearts into everything we do because this work matters. We strive to create genuine connections that inspire, empower, and unite a community of people dedicated to helping animals—standing alongside all who share the mission of building a more compassionate world.
At FCFS, we know the energy and heart it takes to do this work—because we give so much of ourselves to it every single day. That’s why we don’t believe in taking; we believe in blazing our own trail while lifting others up along the way.
Fifteen years is a long time, but the need for our work has never been greater. Our goal is to create a world where rescues are no longer necessary. Until that day comes, we remain steadfast, ready for the challenges ahead—and we want you to join us.

Why Your Support Matters More Than Ever
Every sanctuary faces unique challenges—here are ours:
🌾 We are located in rural Georgia, caring for 100 rescued residents across 13 species on 55 acres.
🏥 We are over an hour from Auburn University, where most of our residents receive specialized veterinary treatment.
🐮 Over 55 large mammals call FCFS home, including 11 cows (up to 2,000 lbs) and 9 big pigs (each at least 400 lbs).
🩺 We care for an aging population of residents, each requiring individualized care as their needs change.
💊 Several residents require special treatments and proactive medical protocols, demanding extra time and expertise from our Care Team.
We must be innovative and resourceful to stretch every donor dollar—expanding quality onsite medical care to minimize stressful travel and protect the FCFS residents, especially during Georgia’s sweltering summers.
Unlike many organizations, we are 100% publicly funded by individuals like you. We do not have large corporate backers or automatic matching grants. This means every dollar is earned through hard work, creativity, and accountability. We cannot gamble on strategies and hope they work—we must make sure every single decision is the right one, because every dollar entrusted to us directly impacts lives.
The Heart of FCFS
At our core, FCFS is built on education, grit, and hard work. The sanctuary is run by a three-person volunteer Board of Directors who handle every task outside of daily animal care.
From scooping poop, building fences, and assisting with animal care to coordinating rescues, fundraising, planning events, marketing, and managing staff—we have done, and continue to do, it all. Having worked in every role, we understand this organization from top to bottom, and we bring that knowledge into every decision we make.
There is no Executive Director and no paid administrative staff—only relentless hustle and unwavering determination. Every penny goes where it matters most: to the residents. We refuse to take a single dollar from their care, gladly working for free while balancing full-time careers rather than sacrificing even a fraction of what they deserve.
This is what makes FCFS different: we’ve built a model that puts the residents first like never before, ensuring every choice, every dollar, and every effort directly serves their well-being. We’re just like you—individuals driven to make a difference for animals. We are donors, volunteers, and supporters ourselves, committed for the past 9–11 years to giving them the lives they deserve.
While there is no single face of FCFS, there is a small, collaborative team—a devoted volunteer Board and an incredible all-female Care Team—working 365 days a year to meet the ever-changing needs of the residents, who are free to be exactly who they are. We adapt to their needs; they never have to adapt to ours.

You Can Help Us Save Lives
This Day of Giving, we’re not asking for extras. We’re asking for what’s vital—for the animals who count on us to show up, no matter what.
To celebrate 15 years of life-saving work, our goal is to raise $15,000 for our annual fund—so we can continue filling the gap andhelping animals in need.
Being 100% publicly funded, we simply cannot do this without you. You are essential to the lives of the residents and the driving force behind every success we achieve.
Your support ensures we can:
Rescue, care for, and protect animals who depend on us
Deliver excellence in animal care, allowing residents to age with grace and surpass life expectancies once denied to them
Adapt to the changing needs of our aging and vulnerable population
Every senior at FCFS is a living testament to the love and care they receive. Their longevity is proof that, together, we’re giving them what they need and deserve.
When you give to FCFS, you can trust that every dollar is used with intention and integrity. We scrutinize every expense, have cut our operating budget in half since 2021, and continually find ways to do more with what we have.
We don’t shy away from hard work. We don’t look for shortcuts. And we never fold under pressure. No matter what obstacles come our way, we persevere—for the animals who depend on us.
