Join us for our long-running Group Volunteer and Vegan Potluck Day, held on the fourth Saturday of each month! It’s the perfect way to make new friends, give back to the animals, and become part of a community dedicated to compassion, connection, and meaningful change.  ​

No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm! You’ll work alongside the FCFS team on meaningful projects that directly benefit the residents, from pasture maintenance and improvements to enrichment prep. It’s hands-on, rewarding, and filled with heart.

After a fulfilling day of service, we gather in the lodge—with its breathtaking 360° sanctuary view of the 55 acre land—for a shared vegan potluck and great conversation. It’s a day full of purpose, positivity, and community.
