Some companies and businesses offer gift matching programs that allow employees to double (or sometimes even triple) their charitable contributions to nonprofits. While not every employer participates, it’s worth checking—this is one of the simplest ways to extend the impact of a donation already made.

In some cases, employers also recognize volunteer hours by converting time spent volunteering into a financial contribution to the sanctuary.

Create a Personal or Group Match
Another way to multiply impact is by pledging a personal or group match. Individuals, families, or small groups can set a matching amount of their choosing, encouraging others to give by knowing their contribution will be matched dollar for dollar.
