Volunteers are an integral part of Full Circle Farm Sanctuary. We need your help to keep enclosures clean and comfortable, socialize with residents, and assist at events and fundraisers. Group, individual, and off-site volunteer opportunities are available.

Q: What should I prepare for the volunteer workday?
- A: Wear weather-appropriate casual work clothes and sturdy closed-toed shoes. No jewelry. Bring along a water bottle to keep hydrated, sunscreen and rain gear as applicable. If you have work gloves, please bring them with you to use for the tasks of the day!
Q: Where are you located?
- A: Our address is 961 White House Pkwy, Warm Springs, GA 31830
Some search results show us as being located in Pine Mountain which is not where we are! We are south of Atlanta in Warm Springs. Our gate has a large sign with our name and logo outside it, and a white fence.
Q:What are the age requirements to volunteer?
- A: Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or 14 years of age and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- NOTE: Family workdays are open to children 8+ accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you wish to attend a family workday and you have children under the age of 8, please reach out to courtneyp@fcfsanctuary.org to discuss options.
Q: How long is the volunteer workday?
- A: The day starts at 11am with sanctuary chores lasting until about 3pm. After clean up we relax and enjoy a vegan potluck from 3pm-4pm.
Q: How do I sign up to volunteer?
- A: Click on the registration link above!
Q: If it's raining, is the volunteer day cancelled?
- A: Volunteer activities proceed in all weather, unless you are contacted by staff to let you know that the day is cancelled. Cancellations typically only occur in extreme thunderstorms or tornado watch conditions. If it's only raining, we're still touring!
Q: Can I feed the animals?
- A: Guests will not feed the residents, because care staff needs to carefully monitor the diets of all residents. Volunteers are welcome to bring produce to donate which is much appreciated, but will not be able to feed it to residents themselves.
Q: What produce donations should I bring?
- A: Our favorite produce to receive include melons, light greens (romaine, iceberg, etc), berries, pineapples, apples, pears, tomatoes, and carrots.
Q: Can I bring food?
- A: Yes, we encourage everyone to bring a vegan dish to share during the putluck (no animal products: no meat, dairy, eggs, honey, or similar items). Volunteers who do not abide by this rule may be asked to put these items away.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
- A: Outside animals, including dogs, are not allowed on the property. If you have a service animal, please email info@fcfsanctuary.org to make accommodations. If you arrive at the sanctuary with a non-service dog you will be asked to leave.
Q: Can I bring my dog and leave them in the car?
- A: Dogs cannot come to the sanctuary and remain in your vehicle. Guests who bring dogs on site will be asked to leave.
