A Journey Come Full Circle A Message from our Founder/Executive Director
When I moved to the Asheville, NC area in 1988, little did I realize that my REAL journey would begin about a year later. After being stirred by conscience to adopt ethical veganism in 1989 and thereafter becoming active in the animal rights/animal protection movement on the local, national and even international fronts; both as a volunteer and then on the staff of an international animal advocacy organization, I found myself ever drawn to creating a safe haven where rescued individual animals in need could receive transformational one-on-one love and attention. In 2010, Full Circle Farm Sanctuary (FCFS) was born of this long-held dream to provide a beautiful life for some of the most routinely abused, misunderstood beings on the planet: farmed animals.
A non-profit organization located in Warm Springs, GA, FCFS promotes putting compassion into action by doing the right thing and making a real difference in the lives of individuals who have endured abuse and neglect. In addition to providing a nurturing lifetime home for animals here at our sanctuary, we also network with other sanctuaries and animal advocates in efforts to help find loving forever homes for many more animals who need our help. Here at FCFS we endeavor to bring the lives of these tortured souls full circle by surrounding them with compassion, safety and peace. It is our privilege to provide them with the loving care they so richly deserve. Currently we are housing and caring for almost 200 residents here at Full Circle, including cows, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, sheep, guinea fowl, ducks, llamas, alpacas, rabbits, dogs, geese, peacocks, peahens, emus and cats. Likewise, through one-on-one interactions with our rescued animal resident ambassadors, along with community outreach and education, it is our hope that public perceptions of farmed animals will also come full circle to embrace true compassion for ALL.
Won’t you help us help the ever-growing ranks of farmed animals who remain in need of our assistance? We welcome and greatly appreciate your contributions to our efforts by putting YOUR compassion into action, whether through your financial support, sharing of expertise and skills, sponsorship of animals in our care, volunteering your time, donations of equipment/materials/supplies and/or your moral support. We truly rely upon the support of caring people everywhere to continue our important, life-saving work.
And remember, the single best thing you can do to help alleviate the needless suffering of innocent animals is to choose a compassionate vegan lifestyle.
