Organization Description: Full Circle Farm Sanctuary is a 50+ acre sanctuary located in Warm Springs Georgia that serves as a permanent safe haven for farmed animals. In addition to providing a nurturing lifetime home for over 100 animals here at our sanctuary, we also network with other sanctuaries and animal advocates in efforts to help find loving forever homes for many more animals who need our help. Job Title: Lead Animal Caregiver

Immediate Supervisor: Animal Care Coordinator
Position: The Lead Animal Caregiver assists in the care of the 180+ rescued animals (pigs, chickens, cows, turkeys, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, emus, geese, ducks, guinea fowl and others) living at the sanctuary. The Animal Care Assistant Coordinator is responsible for the cleaning, feeding, and medical care of the animals, as well as assigning tasks to and supervising the animal caregivers, interns, and volunteers. Animal feeding/watering and maintaining animal feed schedules
Daily animal health care and maintaining treatment records
Daily cleaning duties and maintaining the animal habitats, shelters and other areas
Leading regularly scheduled species health checks
Maintaining neat and organized work and storage spaces
Weekly status meetings with the Executive Director and daily check-ins as needed
Training and supervising sanctuary interns and volunteers
Supervising animal caregivers
Ensuring tools & other items are put away at end of day
Taking weekly inventory of supplies and ordering what is needed
Assisting with veterinary visits and setting up treatment protocols
Completing office projects as assigned
Leading regularly scheduled public tours of the sanctuary
Assisting with animal transport to/from the vet, etc.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
MUST be vegan and adhere to a cruelty-free lifestyle
MUST have at least 1 year of direct farmed animal care experience
MUST possess computer skills that include the ability to navigate and use e-mail and Microsoft office.
Vet Tech certification a big plus
Demonstrate strong leadership skills
Able to learn and complete tasks quickly

Have a strong work ethic, be reliable and dependable

The ideal candidate will reside within 30 miles of Warm Springs, GA or is willing to move prior to the start of the position.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Moderate Work – Exerts up to 50lbs force occasionally and 20lbs frequently. Standing, sitting, reaching, typing and walking are common.
